We not only serve our Quebec clients in English, but also adapt content from our clients outside Quebec for the Francophone market.

Steve Proulx

Founder and President

A journalist for the past 15 years, Steve was the editor-in-chief of two magazines (Urbania and Le Trente), published 13 books, co-hosted a television program, contributed to some of Quebec’s most influential magazines and wrote a regular column about media for seven years in the weekly newspaper Voir. In 2011, he founded 37th AVENUE to provide fresh, peppy content for business platforms.

Patrick Pierra

Partner, V.-P., Business and Strategy

Patrick, a journalist who became an entrepreneur/publisher, was previously the content, marketing and development manager for various media outlets. As a digital media pioneer, he launched the first news website in Quebec (Branchez-vous) and then the first website for tablet users in the United States (TabTimes). At 37th AVENUE, he helps various organizations make the strategic shift towards content marketing.

Véronique Champagne

Producer and Writer-Reporter

Véronique, a triathlete with an MBA in management from HEC Montréal, began her career in advertising handling a wide range of accounts (RBC, Couche-Tard, Subway, Wal-Mart, Annabelle) for various agencies before moving on to journalism.

Valérie Cordier-Chemarin

Content Manager

Valérie, with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and an MBA, has worked in communications for large and small companies, as an editor with Yahoo! Québec and as managing editor / web content at TVA Publications. At 37th AVENUE, she manages content about workplace life.

Violaine Ducharme

Producer and Copy Editor

Violaine, an exacting copy editor and incomparable writer, was an editorial assistant at Urbania magazine. No textual material from 37th AVENUE is delivered without her seal of approval.

Anne-Hélène Dupont

Producer and Writer-Reporter

With a BA in anthropology and a PhD in French literature, Anne-Hélène brilliantly handles writing and journalism assignments; she also teaches literature at a college and for an online university.

Maryse Pépin


For more than 20 years, Maryse worked as an IT consultant and programmer for major firms (Gaz Métro, Future Shop, City of Montreal). She administers the La Voûte platform, which tracks 37th AVENUE’s content production.
